So they’re not going away. They’re just gaming the system to get away with it. Figures.

The stupidity of “corporations are people” on display. Freedom from any responsibility. Extending this logic,I could as an individual commit any number of heinous crimes then just simply change my name and start out fresh.

Ask your local authorities what you would have to do as a homeowner if you spilled a gallon of gasoline or a gallon of #2 diesel (heating oil) on your property. Then realize that the story above is being repeated almost every day across the nation with no repercussions. Chances are that spill was going on for a longer time than thought. Now imagine the “inventory” process of their product. They cannot say with certainty how much was lost? Shouldn’t that concern you? Now imagine the EPA and DER (in my dealings with the DER, I called them “Don’t Expect Results”) weakened by budget cuts with less inspectors. Your future is bearing down on you and it’s headlights are off.
Corporations are people all right. Remember that some people are evil and could care less what happens to you or your children. Now go back to sleep. It was just the wind. Your lawmakers are busy creating shelters so business can thrive unfettered by regulations and laws.
Coming soon to a town or waterway near you.
