King “did” something very courageous. That is my estimation of him.

He acted like, and expected everyone else to act like, a civilized, reasonable person. That takes some courage. The second bit, especially.

I loved that post. So right. It’s insane how the hard right has chosen to co-opt MLK so aggressively.

They need to co-opt, it’s the only way they’ll ever be able to reinvent the narrative and hide their dirty truths.
