Zell and his ilk are just pissed off because his class has only been able to accumulate about half the world’s wealth. He wants it all. Anything less is failure.

Zell and his ilk have no class. Just money.

I thought the meme was “The 1% work smarter, not harder!”

It’s whatever they say it is. Facts mean nothing. Only money dictates terms. The people who lap this bile up are beyond stupid. They are dangerous because they are delusional. You confront these idiots and they sputter and sound like Fox News on a bad feed. Morons.

The hero worship of people with money is sickening. Right up there with worship of the pious, political, or sports ‘heroes.’

One of my sons is a fund-raiser for a religious organization. He made the decision quite early in his career, that if he is going to talk people into giving donations, then he is going to go, like Willie Sutton, “where the money is.”

His brothers call him unkind nicknames, like “remora,” “tick,” “scabie,” and “truffle sniffer.”

He works on salary, not commission. If he worked on commission he would be very wealthy but he think that’s not ethical. However his 1% patrons have given him financial advice so he lives much nicer than my other kids in Brooklyn.

re: #7 Pie-onist Overlord

Don’t misunderstand my point. It is as all other things and people. Just because you are (fill in blank) you are (fill in blank) is not my intent. I just find myself disgusted with a pity party hosted by someone who could literally buy happiness, or something sure looking like happiness. Face it. Money makes misery a whole lot easier to withstand. I know and knew some children of very wealthy well off folks. I can think of one right now who was and remains a flaming jerkoff with no redeeming value except his net worth. It comes down to who you are, and what you believe. Money does not make you anything except more privileged. That people equate money with acumen and intelligence and morals is a fatal mistake. My opinion and my observation.
