There is not enough ale and wine in all of Westeros to make Fox’s viewpoint make sense.

I didn’t see a Fox video at all, instead I got a message said that the video had been blocked by my service provider. I clicked it anyway and got Cenk Uygur
presenting a story on net neutrality. Is it just my service provider or there something going on here I don’t understand?

Daddy Doin’ Work

For another example. hubby has a co0worker whose husband is a Marine. When he finished his duty, he realized he had no skills except in killing people. They decided the best plan for them was for him to be a stay-at-home dad.

Tell me his girls aren’t getting good parenting. And probably a lot of healing for him as well.

SCENARIO #6

Mom: “Why aren’t you a better communicator?”

DDW Mommy Translator: “You dumb ass, don’t you realize that your life would be so much easier if you just agreed with me?” Stop resisting, fellas. If she wants to argue that 2+2=Wednesday, then just nod your head, smile, and back away slowly.

It’s idiotic to link the ability to support a family with having a penis.

It’s Fox. Of course it’s idiotic. That’s what Fox programs, 24/7.

As someone who grew up in a household with a mother who was the breadwinner, fuck this. sexist bullshit. Fuck Fox for pandering to a mindset closer to the Taliban’s perspective on women than the average American.

The “Net Neutrality” video was automatically embedded, it’s on the sidebar at Raw Story.

I have deleted that video and replaced it with the Fox News video.

My husband and I have gone back and forth on who earns more each year. While he was getting his bachelor’s degree, I worked two jobs to support us. It didn’t make our relationship suffer or make him feel like less of a man. He needed every minute he could have to take all the math and science courses he needed and be able to pass them the first time.

When I got my bachelor’s degree, I worked part-time and took an overload schedule, but really, getting an elementary education teaching degree wasn’t particularly stressful.

I guess all the women working at Fox are happy being paid less than their male counterparts and their husbands.

When they start negotiating salary, does Fox first ask them what their husband makes, then offer then 75% of it? It’s God’s way, after all.

re: #8 Pie-onist Overlord

Thanks, I was worried. I thought my ISP might have really blocked it. It being a Fox video, I could come up with a conspiracy theory that would have Fox paying money to keep it’s clips off website that might denigrate them.

Now I can get back to worrying about important things, like how at the end of my moms career at Honeywell, as a service tech she was earning more than Dad, yet less the her male counterparts in the 1970’s. Dad never a have a problem with it, Mom was pissed she did get payed more, we had 2 unsupervised hours after school every day, and got a bigger allowance for doing more chores.

The house got paid off sooner, so there was money for fun stuff as well as saving well for retirement. Wish everyone had such a problem.
