Where are they supposed to go? They can’t exactly leave Gaza, everywhere in Gaza is a potential war zone, and there were at least two incidents where a location housing refugees were shelled.

Everything about the situation stinks, and I’m still inclined to say the US should wash its hands of the mess and cut off all non-humanitarian aid to everyone involved.
