re: #3 Aunty Entity Dragon

wow!!! indeed! he has problems, and not just from a dutch levy…

6 palmerskiss  Feb 13, 2015 3:16:29pm

blog.al.com he was acquitted of those charges… i called the sheriff’s office back -and she already had the article detailing the acquittal ready to go.

7 palmerskiss  Feb 13, 2015 3:17:29pm

if there is an irony here - it is this :

“Those were Washington County Sheriff Richard Stringer’s first words Friday to more than a dozen friends and family who were with him in U.S. District Court Judge Ginny Grenade’s courtroom after a jury found him not guilty of Social Security fraud.”

the same judge! go figure!

he has other problems:

“Richard Stringer vs Aaron Williams
Uploaded on Jun 8, 2010

Washington County Sherriff Richard Stringer threatens Washington County resident, Aaron Williams denies him a pistol permit …because he had a campaign sign @ his drive way. This recording is in its entirety and has not been edited…the recording will speak the truth. I have disabled the comments for this video, because of people attacking me personally. Thank you for viewing. I was turned down by all the local attorneys…I finally found a well-known and renowned attorney he told it would cost 10,000-20,000. After that I was dismayed that I lived in America and justice would not come free or even at a reasonable price… So I searched my heart and mind and decided to wait till my story would be needed…that time has come with SB 286. it only cost me 125.00 for a Florida nonresident concealed weapons permit.”

it seems he was choosing not to issue fire-arms permits to residents who had signs up for his opponent for the election for sheriff.

my next job will be to track down this opposing candidate - this sheriff seems like he is running this town with an iron fist, so to speak.

more from al.com:

Aaron Lee Williams raised a ruckus in 2010 - and eventually helped change Alabama law - when he secretly tape-recorded Washington County Sheriff Richard Stringer turning down his application to renew a conceal-carry permit.

Williams, 30, said he recorded the incident on June 8 of that year because he had gotten word that the sheriff would reject the renewal. Williams, who owns Shadow Lake Farms in Washington County, said he had been licensed without incident since 1996 or 1997. But he had supported Stringer’s opponent in the Democratic primary that month and that, Williams said, changed everything.

During an exchange that lasted several minutes, Stringer referenced his campaign against William Wheat.

“You’ve not ever supported me. And you’ve fought me,” Stringer said on the tape. “You was the only man on that whole road that had a William Wheat sign, and you had it sticking way up high and beautiful. And that’s your privilege. But it’s my privilege to deny you a pistol permit.”

This guy is a real piece of work.

At first I thought this was just unintentionally funny:

“oh you can quote me on that, what you need is a good man to show you how a man makes love to a woman”

Then it occurred to me that there’s a long and rather ugly history behind this kind of statement. It’s actually a thinly veiled rape threat. He’s saying all a woman who stands up to him on gay rights needs is some good hot cock. That she needs to be shown her place and her proper role in the natural order of things, whether she wants it or not and whether she’s in fact gay or not is actually irrelevant. If a woman disagrees with him about gay rights he takes that as prima facie evidence that she hasn’t yet had the reality of life fucked into her by a good strong man.

re: #12 goddamnedfrank

indeed, he actually asked me “have you ever had sex with a man” to which i got a quick reply “probably less than you sir”

he promptly hung up, i wonder if i hadnt taken the quip, if i could have gotten more out of him.

he’s a real piece alright, not sure if anything about him ‘works’ but he is a piece…

this guy gets alabama:

“I once saw a friend’s dog run face-first into a Weed Eater.

The nylon string whacked her on the nose. Her owner ran to drag her back. The dimwitted yardman stood there, confused. And still the dog flew at it, like a Tasmanian Devil of hate.”

“But don’t mistake them for being prissy, because somewhere in their DNA there can still be a few vestigial lines of terrier code that can send them into a rat-killing murder frenzy.”

“As I’ve watched Alabama’s reaction this week to a federal court ruling making gay marriage legal here, I couldn’t help but think of that dog. There was no way to deter her. There was no way to convince her that this hate was irrational or that the fight was unwinnable.

Alabama has always been a dog running face-first at a Weed Eater, not to be deterred by any lashes on her nose.

Birmingham Pastor’s explosive speech about gay marriage during city council meeting
Cedric Hatcher, an outspoken street evangelist and regular at Birmingham City Hall, took to the lectern during the public comment portion of today’s meeting to express his disapproval of the marriages that took place just across Linn Park and around the state Monday.
Civil War?

Whack!

Reconstruction?

Whack!

Civil Rights?

Whack!

HB56?

Whack!

Same-sex marriage?

Whack! Whack! Whack!”

lol :D brilliant metaphor

You wouldn’t think a far-right sheriff would end up as a poster-boy for “Shall Issue” concealed carry, but this asshole managed to be just that.

Great catch. What a piece of work.

Another great catch! The man is clearly vying for Joe Arpaio’s job as the sheriff most Americans love to hate.

20 Shiplord Kirel  Feb 14, 2015 12:59:59pm

Between 1877 and about 1980, a fair number of other Alabama sheriffs failed abjectly in their duty to the Constitution and citizenry. Of course, they were able to claim that they were in fear of their lives from savage lynch mobs. I wonder what this asshole’s excuse is?
