Yelp CEO Calls on Business to Resist ‘Religious Freedom’ Laws

Last evening, after Indiana governor Mike Pence signed into law the state’s notorious “religious freedom” bill, Jeremy Stoppelman, (photo above with Bill Clinton) CEO of Yelp, posted this open letter on the company’s official blog, announcing his intentions to expand their corporate presence only in states that do not permit discrimination. He also called on businesses to “draw a similar line in the sand” to resist such laws and bring pressure to bear on lawmakers who consider voting for them.
