Stephen Harper Won’t Participate In Televised Debate
As you may be aware Canada is having a federal election this fall. It hasn’t officially started yet, that won’t be until the writ drops, but the campaign has already begun.
As a result a consortium of Canada’s largest broadcasters are holding two televised debates among the leaders of our political parties, one in English and one in French.
Stephen Harper is not going to attend. Apparently they’ve received too many invitations and nationally televised debates are not important enough for The Prime Minister and Leader of The Conservative Party to attend.
Ah, those whacky, badly misnamed conservatives. A never ending source of amusement.
