New Rush Limbaugh App Will Block His “Totalitarian” Twitter Critics For You
Despite his frequent protestations over the past several years, the “Stop Rush” movement is clearly taking a toll on Rush Limbaugh. He has been dropped from several major stations, and he continues to bleed sponsors. He was reported to have lost 142 sponsors just in the 2 weeks following his misogynistic attack on Sandra Fluke in 2012, and he may have lost as many as 3000 more around the country in the 3+ years since then (although one suspects more than a few of those left and came back).
Any normal person in this situation who was also looking at the final 16 months of a $50m per year contract would either be getting ready to ride off into the sunset, or doing some serious soul searching about the type of behavior that has lead to the problems outlined above in order to secure another big money contract. Limbaugh is, of course, not a normal person. He and his lackeys are instead developing ways his shrinking fan base can better ignore the constant drum beat of criticism against him.
Help Us Defend Free Speech on Twitter
As Rush has told us many times, The New Totalitarians use Twitter to shout down and intimidate anyone with an opposing viewpoint into silence, because they know they can’t beat us in the Arena of Ideas.
So Now You Can Stop New Totalitarians with One Button
Simply log into your Twitter account, and then press the button below. If you don’t have a Twitter account, you can still join us and sign up for one at Twitter.com. We’ve identified the top left-wing speech-suppressors and #StopRush leaders, and when you click the Big Red Button, you will block them all from your Twitter account forever. If they try to cheat by changing Twitter accounts… we’ll be able to automatically update the list, and you don’t have to do a thing!
The “button” is an app that will import Limbaugh’s shared block list to your Twitter account.
Want to see who is on Rush’s list?
To see the New Totalitarian accounts we have blocked, go to Twitter/settings/blocked.
Oh, so I get to review the list of blocked account once I actually authorize the app to block them first.
But wait, Rush is not totalitarian himself!
You can also override any accounts we have blocked there by pressing the “unblock” button.
See? I bet those feminazis wouldn’t let you override anything!
