Not again!

Oh, well. Just calls more attention to his son’s arrest on drug charges.

How does one become the Chief Justice of a State Supreme Court without understanding how the Supremacy Clause works?

By being removed once before as Chief Justice for refusing to follow the law.

And he’ll be thrown out again and get re-elected. What needs to happen is that he needs to be disbarred for bringing shame and disrespect to the profession.

Hey Roy Moore, you lost! Get over it! You do not have the authority to overrule the supreme court. Seriously keep this up and you could be disbarred permanently, and I’ll be really happy, if and when that finally happens.

I’m guessing because we elect wingnuts, and its largely the same reason why people who don’t understand, or don’t care about the actual history of this country or the world, get to decide what goes in history textbooks in places like Texas.

I see someone’s at risk at being removed from office again.

And I doubt many of the judges already issuing licences to same sex couples will comply with Moore’s ruling as it runs into Obergefell v. Hodges and thus is non-enforceable. But it’s not like reality ever stopped the likes of Moore and his fellow Christian Dominionist travellers.

Thing is, Alabamans keep electing him, keep listening to him, keep believing him.

I’m beginning to think that he wants to turn (first) Alabama (then) the United States into his version of a “Christian nation,” no Jews, blacks, or others he doesn’t like allowed.
