Dolores Huerta is a true heroine of mine.

Not to go all concern troll on Bernie, but this requires a comprehensive response from the campaign…

Here’s one:

Not from the official campaign, I suppose.

That is really really really disappointing.

To Bernie, feel this:

Some of the Sanders supporters are starting to seem an awful lot like Trump supporters.

Seriously. I’ve had to end up deleting quite a few off my FB, including one that got so mad at me criticizing his plan for single-payer health care as unrealistic that he resorted to threatening to kick my ass.

Psycho fucks on top of that.

I’m hearing conlficting things about the Huerta. However as CL and Electro have gotten at, there really is a nasty element in some of them. It’s that their candidate can never be wrong and if you’re not on board with Bernie then you must be a sellout. I really like a lot of what Sanders stands for but there’s a lot i’m disappointed in too especially for someone who promotes himself as a staunch protector of progressive ideals. Bernie does seem to attract a certain type that is very obnoxious and very dismissive of anyone and it’s a very real problem with his campaign and it’s frankly why his campaign doesn’t have much broader appeal.

For the purposes of correction: the claim turned out to be false.

I can see why some anonymous moderator would think Huerta, although a long-term Hillary supporter, might not be neutral enough to translate for those who asked for it. She’s an Honorary Chair of Democratic Socialists of America.

They should have been offering her chairs and microphones and water and gratitude.

She’s a Clinton surrogate. She tweeted an outright lie about Sanders’ campaign - and confirming that she wouldn’t have been a trustworthy translator.
Yet she’s still infallible? Isn’t this the same problem we’re having with some Bernie supporters?

I’m more a Clinton supporter, though I wish Bernie’s vision were possible. Having said that, Huerta has shown herself to be nakedly partisan, happy to use dishonesty to get her candidate ahead in the game. It’s shameful for such an icon to shit on her own reputation like that. Maybe it’s age.

Did I say somewhere that she is infallible? Are you just demonstrating ‘the same problem we’re having with some Bernie supporters’?

Huerta has been a Democrat since Bernie moved to Vermont. Who is untrustworthy? I can’t believe some moderator decided that a request to understand what was going on could not be fulfilled by someone who supports Hillary. Do none of Bernie’s supporters know enough Spanish to listen in?

It’s shameful for such an icon to shit on her own reputation like that. Maybe it’s age.

Maybe. How old are you?
