The results of this kind of effort will be more votes for Hillary. I think and hope.

Or Bernie Sanders, assuming he’s the Democratic nominee instead of her. Both of them are pretty pro choice from what I understand.

Reality Based Steve,

The only thing shocking about this is that the guy was able to successfully lobby a state legislature into including this language in the bill. Even that might not be as shocking as it should be through, since isn’t Oklahoma a red state?

Nothing shocking about it at all, just one more salvo in the very well-funded and coordinated campaign. Every two years Colorado winds up voting on yet another re-worded “personhood” amendment to the state constitution — they keep hoping that one of these days it will be laced with enough weasel-words to pass.

Disgusting, that’s another matter.

Supreme court, here we come again.

But if abortion is illegal and the female, woman, wife, girlfriend, daughter is denied abortion even if her life will end if denied…..What is that again?

Do people really understand the ramifications of such bills?

If a woman miscarries, will she be required to save the “evidence” and submit it to authorities so they can verify it wasn’t an abortion? If so, will women stop seeking medical care during early pregnancy to avoid being placed in such a ridiculous, abhorrent position?

This isn’t just hyperbole; laws requiring such “evidence” have already been proposed. For example:

State Rep. Bobby Franklin of Georgia introduced a bill in his state last week that, if enacted, would require proof that a miscarriage occurred naturally. If a woman can’t prove that her miscarriage-or spontaneous abortion-occurred without intervention, she could face felony charges. Think Progress

These people are insane.
