there is a small part of me that really kind of hopes a year from now, after Republicans have had a chance to put all the wet-dream policies into place that they can think of, we get a nut-busting recession that kills 10 million jobs and wipes out about half the stock market, and that this is felt most painfully in places like Pennsylvania and Michigan.

But we don’t want the intense suffering this would cause to tens of millions of people, most of whom didn’t vote for Trump, so I’m hoping he doesn’t fuck up the strong economy he’s inheriting.

I don’t agree, but even if it did occur the people who voted for the Fabulist Trump would find a way to blame it on Obama still.
