Congressional Oil Drilling Debate at My Daughter’s Graduation
I will admit it was rude, but I couldn’t help it, there are not many times when a real live United States Congressman is five feet away from me. Congressman, you have to allow drilling, your party is single-handedly keeping prices high.
At first the congressman said he was here for his daughter and did not want to discuss politics, but to his credit he came over five minutes later, asked me my name and discussed the issue with me (as my wife tried to dig a hole under the nearest chair).

Just then the music started and the congressman shook my hand and went to his seat. I was happy that the congressman had the guts to come over to me, especially when he know I would obviously be a “hostile” questioner. I was saddened that he tried to give me the same old Nancy Pelosi party line . The same one that his party’s standard bearer, Senator Barack Obama gives. In Senator Obama’s case (as well as Congressman Israel) it shows just how out of touch he is with the will of the American People”………..
