As with any large group, there are going to be bigots in the Democratic party, but unlike with Republicans, being anti-Muslim hasn’t become some sort of patriotic litmus test. I would also point out that both of the Muslim members of the current (114th) Congress belong to the Democratic party, as do the lone Hindu & Buddhist members. Of the 28 Jewish members only one, Rep. Lee Zeldin (NY-1), is a Republican. (Sources: 1, 2)

Of the 10 members who don’t have a religious affiliation (1) or who refuse/don’t know what theirs is (9), all are Democrats. Those numbers speak pretty loudly.

The numbers also show that the overwhelming majority of the 535 voting members of the U.S. legislature are Christian, so the Christians who claim persecution because they have to bake a cake or issue a license for something they disapprove of really ought to STFD and STFU.
