Question for the registered lizard army: I’m working on a feature that will send you a notification email when someone posts a private comment addressed to you. Would you rather I make this feature “opt-in” (in other words, turned OFF by default and you have to enable it in Account Settings) or “opt-out” (turned ON by default and you have to disable it in Account Settings if you don’t want it)?

I’m leaning toward opt-out, because otherwise a lot of people probably will never even know the feature is there.
