I live at latitude 55 degrees North where the light at this time of year
(also the Ramadan feast) lasts for about 17 &1/2 hours;meaning that that is the period when a Muslim must neither eat or drink .
This of course means that a Muslim cannot live north at a latitude higher than 70 degrees since daylight lasts 24 hours;unless he/she moves south for Ramadan.
