It is perfectly acceptable to critique, criticize and reject Islam, its texts, its founder/s and its adherents as harshly as we do with those of other faiths and ideologies, including our own. For indigenous LGBTs with no other country to live in but their lands of birth, it is more than rational and reasonable to reject aspiring newcomers who seek your subordination and eventual extermination, either stated by them directly or justified and promoted by the texts and faiths that the newcomers themselves profess to believe in.

How to respond to that? He has a “Je Suis Charlie” image on his FB as well, to better gauge the type of guy we are dealing with.
