That’s the point of his fucking wall - keeping the nonwhites out of the US by any means necessary, including creating a bogus national emergency to reallocate appropriations from disaster relief to fund his nonsensical boondoggle wall.

The GOP and white supremacists (I’m repeating myself) are cheering this bulkshit on.

They’ll be in for a nasty surprise when they learn that if you call for a national emergency here, and you let it stand, that means a Democrat could come in and cut the military budget or eliminate all energy incentives for oil companies and shift it to renewables and infrastructure to deal with an actual climate change crisis. Or any number of other moves that Trump’s creating precedent with in his effort to destroy functioning government by any means necessary.

There is no crisis at the border. None. His own admin admits as much. But he wants one and is calling the shots, so every last GOPer is falling into goose step.
