Guess it shouldn’t surprise me that the knee-jerk response to this story is not to express shock at the circumstances or anger at the perpetrator, but instead to get angry with the media for mislabeling the perp’s race.

The implication is that since the suspect is not white, he couldn’t have been motivated by the victim being black, which is not logical unless you think like a racist.
