That’s what I think is likely. Kinda tamps down the desire to see him fry (which I didn’t feel in the first place).
My son is only a few years older than the elder brother and he did some spectacularly stupid stuff in his teen years (none of it violent), so when I look at this 19-year-old’s face, the mom in me feels a twinge of pity… then I remember the photos of that guy with both his lower legs blown off, and I think about all the other dead & injured and the pity evaporates. It’s all so depressing. *sigh*
