I was a little kid the last time I remember things being this volatile, that was in 1992 with the whole Rodney King thing. That was an unmitigated disaster.

I hope north St. Louis County doesn’t befall the same fate as south-central Los Angeles 22 years ago.

My neighbors organized. We had a 24 hr “firewatch”. We busted out the fire extinguishers. Had a man on the roof with binoculars. Got sent to South LA by LAFD to take hydrogen tanks out of the shop and put them out in the middle of the parking lot. Just in case the place got burned.
