I think the only thing we can do is continue to grow more diverse . The frustrating thing however is growing more diverse creates a backlash. It really amazes me that people whom could see through Reagan- Reagan lost Cambria County have become the foot soldiers of the 21st century GOP. A lot gets made about the Reagan Dems but a lot saw through him too. I still chuckle thinking ebony own grandfather telling me that he never liked Reagan’s movies much or his acting.

Is the diversity creating the backlash? It doesn’t seem like the places that have the most diversity are those where that backlash is strongest.
