My husband has type 2 diabetes that has become insulin dependent. Even with insurance we can’t afford the pens, so he’s had to go to syringes and insulin in vials. He’s got bruises all over his stomach from it, but he does not have any other options. How is it right to charge over half of what a disabled person gets each month for one medication? I cry all the time over this. It’s fucking wrong. Both of us have worked hard our whole lives. How is this acceptable?
