Memories of the nightmare of Hurricane Agnes in 1972 when it re-energized and stalled out in PA with heavy flooding the worst parts hit were Johnstown and Wilkes-Barre.

My sister had a t-shirt with a score board on it that said:
Floods - 3
Johnstown - 0

My father’s family is from a small coal town near Johnstown. And three of my four aunts lived right around Johnstown. Plus my grandfather was in the hospital in Johnstown when it got flooded in 1977.
