What they’re pretending he said: “The child of a rape is still a precious human life.”

Those are not equivalent statements.

BTW, I went to the halal barbecue place today, and the gentleman who waited on us was scolding Huckabee over his ‘some of the best people are children of rape’ comments. “The point,” he said, “is that rape is a crime. Why is this man acting like it has some good points or something?”
