Yesss, but since the message of both the video and this thread has been that only the sceptics are frauds, clowns or mouth pieces for industry.

I agree — especially about the video. Your challenge to that particular graphic was right and you carried the point.

However, I have developed a fondness for hearing the other side of an argument — even if presented badly. The global warming activists are particularly nasty but some skeptics have responded in kind. We would do better if we did not follow their style.

If global warming turns out to be minor (as I believe it will) history will be very harsh on the activists. Scientific debate is supposed to involve disagreement and it’s supposed to be OK to be wrong. Science marches on. However, the activists have put themselves in a position where they cannot be wrong. If they can get everyone to change their CO2 habits, then no matter how the future turns out, they will be safe. If the warming turns out not to be a problem they can even claim credit for saving the world. But if we do nothing and their extreme predictions fail then CAGW will be judged to be the greatest hoax in the history of science and the largest scam in the history of man. I wouldn’t want to have that possibility looming over my head.
