I don’t know the district but you have to be hard core GOP to want to privatize SS. No old folks there? I think no matter the district, but for where the baggers go, privatizing SS is a big time uphill battle.

Hence Paul Ryan’s schtick of “But only if you’re younger than 55!” It allows current Olds to get “What I Worked For All My Life”, while punishing those younger layabouts for their profligacy.

Last year when I was 54, it seemed like a really shitty thing to do. Now, with me 55 and my wife 54, I’m on the fence. Of course, she turns 55 in May…
