I got into a brief exchange on Facebook with a guy who said he ‘liked the ballsy move.’ I said that the One China approach had worked for better than 40 years, and he replied that I was ‘another one who has it all figured out - like I give a shit what you think lol’ (that’s verbatim). This gy is a friend of a friend, in his 50s.

You simply cannot discuss anything in an adult manner with these people. They think it’s just awesome that Trump is running roughshod over diplomacy. Try pointing out that it might not be a good idea and they react like 12 year olds.

I told the guy he was an asshole and bailed. There was no point in discussing anything with that dude, he didn’t want discussion. He wanted the chance to throw insults.
