Most of the Canadian border guys are pretty chill. Last time we traveled north my wife had more anxiety about going through the U.S. border checkpoint on the way home than crossing into Canada…and she’s a U.S. Citizen.

After trump was elected I was literally terrified to go into Michigan. I didn’t cross the border for a month. Then, the first time I did, that asshole made that comment about marrying a Canadian. I didn’t cross for another month after that. (I usually cross every weekend to do my grocery shopping.)
