It will never not amaze me how many Catholics and Evangelicals have convinced themselves and each other that the core tenets of their faith is to obsess, at all costs, about two things that Jesus never once said a word about. And yet their “adherence to biblical values” requires them to vehemently oppose all the things their book quotes Jesus as advocating for over and over again.
