When I got in earlier, my coworker told me it’d been dead quiet during her shift and I told her everybody was out partying and it would go wild around 2-3am when all the parties ended and bars closed. Sure enough, it’s now 3am and car after car have pulled into the lot making all sorts of noise.

Had a few come wandering back but bar close isn’t for a half hour yet and I still have one more arrival that I have to wait till 2:30 for anyway. Could be worse. Don’t miss having to give out the free beer, wine & snacks like in Hayward! OTOH, a 12 pack of the best variety always did manage to “fall” off the cart into my truck on the way to the lobby but that was just the way it was 😎
