The eldest kid calls me from the sandbox on Thursday AM. We chat for a bit and then he sez, “Oh shit dad. Gotta go.”

I’m waiting for the ‘no biggie’ call.

Otherwise, I’d be asleep.
Probably not drinking.

probably the new 2LT wanted to have a surprise in ranks inspection…..with Class A’s.
