Agreed. If he’s cheating on someone, that’s his own affair. If he’s single and dating, which gender may make me snicker, based on his legislative record, but not my business.

It certainly isn’t, and not only in California. However, guilt is not yet established, and won’t be until trial. And often, at trial, the defendant in such cases is found not guilty. The police, after all, aren’t perfect.

Judgment will come, but it hasn’t arrived yet.

The drinking comments were largely tangential, and were included because they amplified my overall point. Of the two claims - being drunk and being gay - they’re the ones that are probably on firmer ground. Whether he was gay, or just leaving with his wing man, can’t really be determined from anything I’ve read. Like another article yesterday whose headline proclaimed that a religious group want to “stone the whale” that killed it’s trainer in Florida, the headline isn’t borne out by the facts presented.
