Agreed. But, and this is crucial, not wrong in every last respect. It’s very difficult to avoid seeming to defend Nazism when discussing Germany’s Autobahns. Yes, yes, damned near everything about Nazism was wrong and evil. But, well, err, umm, yes, Eisenhower himself concluded that in this one limited and narrow field, they had got something right.

That is true. But this report is not like the Autobahns. They were well constructed, and properly laid out. This ‘report’ is a poorly constructed piece of drek, started with a determination to reach a preset conclusion. Some of its sources might be good, but the piece itself is useless.
