My implied point was that regional is only regional if it is unique to a region.

If you base your argument that change is global by referring to a local change, I believe that pointing out the weakness in the argument is not uncalled for. I also want to point out that I don’t use terms like “morons” and deniers” for those who don’t agree with me.
