I have to bite my tongue a lot, figuratively speaking, with relatives. Today, my sister (that niece’s Mom) responded to ANOTHER of her inspirational meme posts with ‘God has a plan for us!’ What I DIDN’T reply with was “Given what I’ve seen of the world and how things go, believing some entity planned this makes me feel WORSE than believing there’s nobody at the wheel.”

But hey, if all I have to deal with are irrationally optimistic Christians as relatives, that’s not so bad!
