I’m under no illusion that Neil Gorsuch will be blocked from appointment. He’ll be seated on the Supreme Court, guaranteed. Because in the end Democrats in Washington don’t have any fight in them, haven’t for a few decades now. I wish it were otherwise - and Ullr knows it could change from now ‘til 6 November 2018 - but Democrats, even after all we’ve seen, have no balls.

Even if the Democrats hold out until the end, Trump has already said he wants the Turtle to use the nuclear option - and if that happens, there’s nothing that can be done.

We don’t have the majority. It’s as simple as that.
