Saw a report that Panasonic is going to build an EV battery plant in De Soto, Kansas (since the topic of new plants in Kentucky came up yesterday). It is principally to supply batteries for Tesla.

Lots of companies need EV batteries now. Good to see Panasonic getting in on the game - they’ll probably reduce the size and increase the capacity of batteries in the process.

Hoping by the time my Rivian comes in they’ll have added another 100 miles of range and decreased charging time.
