Sounds like a plan!

She’s out of the yard and floating, I just lose all my DC power, radios & nav system when I disconnect from the shore. Even with fully charged batteries, and the engine running. The best I can figure is that I’ve got a disconnect in the ground wiring. I have a book with a series of test to do to isolate the problem. Unfortunately wiring is in tight places & goes from the batteries across ten feet to the main panel.

If I can get that part figured out, I need to motor over to San Pedro and fuel up. If weather is good might take her out past the harbor for a little shake down sail… Wind Tamer
