I worked for a union twice… hated it both times.

I know more than a few people who despised the antics of their unions…I was a Teamster out of high school and the local rep was a formidable beast I had to take on, by myself….asshole looked and acted just like a cheap gangster, all bluster and intimidation…my ex was in a nurses union for years and eventually left her job because of the obsession over ticky tack bullshit, often at the expense of quality care….there are tons of horror stories and scant few touchy feely stuff…there are two side to the sordid history of money grubbing unions
