re: #97 Lidane

Clarence Thomas is the laziest legal thinker I’ve had the displeasure of reading this semester. His dissent in the case over California’s violent video game law was utter shit that made me question if he even had any idea what the hell was going on. Even Scalia called him out on it in the footnotes of the SCOTUS opinion.

I have to say as a liberal, while I disagree with what most of Antonin Scalia stands for, I respect that he’s a student of the law who has real passion for it. I got a law school friend, also a huge liberal who has to read decisions all the time that Scalia’s are by far more enjoyable than Thomas and Alito’s. Forget what she said about Roberts but she says despite the fact Scalia and her don’t see eye to eye on much, he’s got a respectable passion for the law and it shows in his opinions.
