The thing is:

If people really, really believe that abortion is murdering sentient human beings, or, if they really, really feel that abortions result in souls being damned to eternal torment, then I’d expect them to be fighting a war over it. If I actually thought that there was institutionalized mass-murder being carried out in this country, I’d take up arms against it.

This is one of the weird disconnect between the fiery rhetoric and the actual reality of how people live their lives.

I am aware that there are goods made by slave labor in nearly all the stores near me. I haven’t gone to war.

It is actually possible to put up with unbelievable injustice. People do it every day.
