Back when I used to keep a dozen American Railroad Pocket Watches running all the time, the switch between Standard and Daylight Saving Times was quite a chore, especially since Railroad watches are lever set, meaning you don’t pull up on the crown to put it in setting mode, but rather unscrew the bezel (holds the crystal) and pulling up on a lever. Then screwing the bezel back on, making sure not to cross-thread it.

Nowadays, I only keep 4 watches running constantly, so it’s a lot faster!
