Yeah and they got what they deserved when that crowd they joined with ended up turning against them and put their lives at risk. Can’t say I hold any sympathy for them when they clearly were trying to be on good terms with a bunch of bigots who still won’t accept them.

It’s just so upsetting. You’d think that an experience like that would maybe make them realize how fucked up their worldview is.
