I assume that’s the case with most of them. They don’t know crap about firearms but just spout the shit because they think it makes them look bad ass.

Look at how the pros approached the most likely dead guy in the SUV. The armchair amateurs think you get by with a CCW pistol. The pros used 3 armored vehicles, dozens of trained men, and a dog for good measure.
