Nate Silver is a pretty smart statistical-analysis guy who got way out over his skis after he predicted the 2016 election and decided that he was Nate Silver, God of All Numbers, Lord of Mathematics and King of All He Surveys (see what I did there?), and ever since then, he’s been opening his big fat yap on all manner of topics about which he has next to no direct knowledge as if he was an expert.
In this Michigan diner, Nate means Lions receiver Burleson, not native son Silver. But they do know this: A presidential debate isn’t worth having if it isn’t blessed by a frustrated pundit who made a bunch of correct predictions 16 years ago.
