There is an uncomfortably high risk that in 2024 enough of the electorate are looking for celeb/entertainment potential, for whom they vote, and just don’t care about competence.

If that is the case then this is the unraveling of democracy.

The religious right already believes democracy is wrong (it’s rebellion against their god.)

And the tech-bro/dude-bro crowd already want to return to the days of men owning women and the value of man is his bank account.

It’s a bit grim of me… I just hope that enough decent people decide that they have to vote even if they are not excited to do so.
