I think it has become so bad, (perhaps by design) this shenanigan can be out in the open, with no repercussion whatsoever.

I expect the politicians to lie to me with a straight face. There are no surprises anymore. The concept of love of country, duty, honor, would not be a reality to these people if it were the teeth of a pit bull biting them in the ass.

These bastards get to dance, spin, shuck, and jive, while real people assume the risk, place their lives in jeopardy doing the dirty work.
