I’m not digging the whole premise. It’s fairly common for people to be detained and questioned at presidential appearances. Very few are actually arrested and even fewer are charged. It happens all the time. Those protest signs are being held by idiots. However, the big difference now is that these guys are showing up to protests armed. Many belong to anti-government militias. Today’s protesters present a greater threat and they are more high profile than they were in the past. They seek out the spotlight more effectively than the LLL did in the past.
